Blessing Baskets 2025: Laurel’s Biggest Act of Kindness Returns

What started as a simple idea born out of community compassion has grown into one of Laurel’s most impactful local efforts — and it’s back for its third year. The Laurel Blessing Baskets 2025 initiative is underway, with a bold goal of serving even more families than ever before. After 140 baskets were donated in 2023 and 220 in 2024, the community is rallying again to beat last year’s record — and you can be part of it. These baskets go directly to students and families across seven Laurel-area elementary schools:

How to Get Involved

Want to build and donate a basket yourself? Wonderful! This is an in-person, hands-on event, and all donors are asked to sign up in advance so the organizers can track commitments and deliver on promises to the schools.
